How to denounce a fake profile in the lookouts

If you identify a fake profile on the Mirantes platform, follow the steps below to report it and ensure community safety.

What is considered a fake profile?

• Contains invented or fraudulent information
• Use someone's identity without authorization
• Presents credentials or false experiences to deceive recruiters
• Passes through a company or professional that does not exist
• Use false, stolen or IA -generated photos without consent

Report directly by the profile

• Access the suspicious user profile
• Click on the three -point icon (⋮) in the upper right corner
• Select the "Report Profile" option
• Choose the reason for the complaint (false profile, stolen identity, fraudulent information)
• Provide additional details (optional)
• Send the complaint

What happens after the complaint?

• Internal Analysis: Our moderation team will review the denounced profile and may request more information
• Temporary suspension: the profile can be temporarily disabled during the investigation
• Removal or Warning: If confirmed as false, the profile will be removed and measurements may be taken against the user
